I initially started working as an editor for practical books, including cooking, decoration, and DIY. Later, I left Paris for 7 years of expatriation, first in Kinshasa and then in Bangkok.

I totally understand what it feels like to adapt to a language and culture different from your own, as I have been through it myself. With a degree from a business school, a specialized master's in publishing management, and a master's in French as a Foreign Language, I have been teaching for almost ten years to diverse audiences, including business schools, engineering schools, culinary schools, as well as to artists who have relocated to France. Of course, I also provide private lessons.

Regardless of your level, I aim to help you progress in an atmosphere that is both focused and warm. If you are curious about the French language and culture, I would be delighted to introduce and share them with you.

Bonjour !

Passionate about travels, foreign languages and people ever since I was a kid, I have decided to start teaching French as a foreign language when I moved to New York City six years ago, a nice way to combine what I enjoy the most in life !

Throughout those years of experience, I have had the opportunity to teach many students, from kids to adults and from professionals to university students, in various institutions (French institutes, worldwide known universities, private-owned schools, public schools, etc.) and in different settings (one-on-one, group classes, mini group classes, on-site and online, synchronous and asynchronous).

I believe learning a foreign language is a one-of-a-kind experience and a very interesting challenge. As an instructor, I aim at guiding my students through this experience and make the learning process invigorating, stimulating and, why not, life changing.

Education-wise, I hold a master’s degree in English and Italian from Sorbonne University and a master’s degree in business from Skema Business School.

I can’t wait to meet you !

After I graduated from La Sorbonne with a Master’s degree in French linguistics, I taught for a year at the University of Cape Town in South Africa. In 2018, I began to teach French back in Paris as a private tutor for adults and mainly for English speakers.

As someone very interested in languages and foreign cultures, I understand the challenges in learning a new language. I focus on identifying straight off your language needs, from a “useful French” type of learning (beginner level) to more specific topics at advanced level.

My approach is to create each class around what you need to learn, using study material that you will find engaging.

Above all, I believe that your confidence and satisfaction is the key to improvement, so I will always be encouraging and patient.

I graduated with a Master’s degree in French as a Foreign Language and teach various audiences, including individuals and professionals. I also have extensive international experience: I studied in Milan, worked as a journalist in Bangkok, and was a private tutor in Russia before returning to Paris, where I now teach French as a foreign language full-time. In addition to my Master’s in French, I also attended a film school.

I have broad experience teaching different levels and adapting to a variety of learning abilities. I enjoy combining traditional teaching methods with current, topical materials, paying particular attention to each learner’s areas of interest.

I place great emphasis on communication while ensuring a solid foundation from the beginning, maintaining a balance between speaking, listening, and accuracy.

The little extra in my lessons, when suitable for the student, is my cultural approach. Don’t be surprised if I occasionally use movie excerpts during our sessions!

During my undergraduate studies, I ended up discovering a passion for French grammar and decided to do a master's degree in teaching French as a foreign language at Sorbonne university. Today, grammar has no secrets for me, and I hope it soon won't for you either!

Since graduating, I have been teaching French at all levels, particularly to English-speaking adults. Whether they want to buy a baguette or obtain French nationality, I always accompany my students in their learning by offering them a tailor-made approach adjusted to their needs.

Finally, as an energetic person with a good sense of humor, I always prioritize speaking skills during my classes, using a funny and interactive approach. My aim is to always put a smile on my students’ faces during my classes.

t was during a woofing experience on a farm in Australia that I began teaching French. That first experience was so enriching that, after an initial career in the audiovisual industry, I decided to pursue teaching French to foreigners as my new profession.

My passion led me to the United States, where I taught university students in Nebraska through the Fulbright program. I then moved to the Basque Country in Spain, where I worked with employed adults, and more recently to the Seychelles, where I taught French in a primary school.

My expatriate experiences have always brought me back to Paris, where I teach students of all levels, nationalities, and a wide range of professional backgrounds. I am convinced that learning another language is a true source of personal enrichment, and I look forward to guiding you on your journey through the French language!
