I initially started working as an editor for practical books, including cooking, decoration, and DIY. Later, I left Paris for 7 years of expatriation, first in Kinshasa and then in Bangkok.

I totally understand what it feels like to adapt to a language and culture different from your own, as I have been through it myself. With a degree from a business school, a specialized master's in publishing management, and a master's in French as a Foreign Language, I have been teaching for almost ten years to diverse audiences, including business schools, engineering schools, culinary schools, as well as to artists who have relocated to France. Of course, I also provide private lessons.

Regardless of your level, I aim to help you progress in an atmosphere that is both focused and warm. If you are curious about the French language and culture, I would be delighted to introduce and share them with you.

Travelling is at the heart of my passion for languages. Travelling through music, books, food, and the arts, across the times and around the world. French, my mother tongue, but also English, German, Latin, and Greek have allowed me to weave ties in more than thirty countries and have taught me to handle various styles of communication.

As a lawyer in international companies, I loved welcoming my colleagues to Paris and sharing with them the cultural treasures of the City of Light.

With many years of experience in teaching French, I have taught expatriate families moving to France, students preparing for competitive exams, and tourists seeking authenticity. My courses are tailored to your interests, your daily life, and your professional challenges and are dedicated to the goals chosen together. My students describe me as a teacher who is attentive to their pace and progress, enthusiastic, and empowering.

I have a Master's degree in Law and Human Resources from La Sorbonne University and I am also certified in English and pedagogy by the University of Cambridge.

Before I became a French teacher for foreigners, I wanted to be a literature teacher. During my undergraduate studies, I ended up discovering a passion for French grammar and decided to do a master's degree in teaching French as a foreign language at Sorbonne university. Today, grammar has no secrets for me, and I hope it soon won't for you either!

Since graduating, I have been teaching French at all levels, particularly to English-speaking adults. Over the past three years, I have had the opportunity to work with major companies such as L'Oréal and McKinsey. Whether they want to buy a baguette or obtain French nationality, I always accompany my students in their learning by offering them a tailor-made approach adjusted to their needs.  

Finally, as an energetic person with a good sense of humor, I always prioritize speaking skills during my classes, using a funny and interactive approach. My aim is to always put a smile on my students’ faces during my classes.

After graduating in ‘Langues Etrangères Appliquées’ from the Université of Angers, I decided to specialise in teaching French to adults foreigners, mainly in-companies. I have a wide experience in teaching at different levels and to different abilities. I like mixing traditional teaching methods with topical material and pay a particular attention to the areas of interest of each learner.

I like to place great emphasis on communication whilst believing in building a solid basis from the start and making sure that there is a balance between speaking skills, listening skills and accuracy.

Over the years, I have organised French tuition for many companies including the BBC, the Economist Intelligence Unit and Google.

I know that people learn very differently and my experience allows me to pinpoint the method which works best for each person.

Teaching languages has always been a passion for me. I am myself bilingual. Having an English parent and a French one, I travel regularly to discover new cultures. Two of my grandparents were teachers, teaching runs in the family !

Therefore I decided to dedicate myself to teaching languages (French & English). I have always had an excellent connection with children & teenagers and the desire to share my knowledge. I have been teaching both children and adults for three years.

For my lessons, I chose to use a fun and creative approach. I pay particular attention to the areas of interest of each learner, and I personalize each lesson around the student’s linguistic goals and expectations.
