Nestled between the majestic peaks of the Pyrenees and the cultural richness of Béarn, French language immersion plunges you into authentic French daily life.

-15 hours of french lessons in a mini-group ( 8 persons maximum - level A2 and higher)

-3 pedagogical excursions included : hike with breathtaking view - vineyard visit with local product tasking - Guided tour of Oloron Sainte-Marie

-3 optional activities : yoga class - a visit of Cedric’s farm - Visit of Elodie’s faboulours garden

-A minimum of 50 hours of french practice

Gite Castagné in the Pyrénées

Stay in a charming gîte. Nestled in the heart of Bearn, the gite Castagné blends the charm of a traditionnal farmhouse with the confort and refinement of a boutique lodge.

You will have the choice of 5 private bedrooms with their own en-suite bathroom, and two that share a spacious, beautifully appointed bathroom.

Additional charming lodges will be offered as registrations continue to grow.

Laurie is the main chef of the stay. Her cooking is rooted in rural and family tradition but has been enriched by her travels, evolving in a vibrant, Mediterranean, and largely plant-based style.

Nathalie

A certified French tutor since 2003, Nathalie first taught in London for several years, working with professionals from the worlds of law, banking, media, and luxury. After many years managing guesthouses in the Pyrenees, she returned to language teaching in 2023 and now specializes in immersive stays and individual courses. These offer a refined balance between depth and ease, where confidence grows through meaningful conversation and a genuine enjoyment of living and learning in French.

Prisca

With over ten years of experience teaching French as a foreign language, Prisca combines her expertise in pedagogy with a passion for experiential learning. A former academic coordinator and creator of French as a foreign learning materials, she now teaches adults through dynamic immersion programs in the Pyrenees, where language learning unfolds through discovery, authentic connection, and the confidence that comes from stepping beyond one’s comfort zone.
