    How to use the verb AIMER in French 

In French the verb ‘to love’ is confusing because it expresses a variety of feelings. The verb  "aimer" is versatile and its meaning depends on the context in which it is used. It can convey a  range of emotions from deep love to a simple liking or preference.

Je t’aime really translates as  I am in love with you.To keep it on a friendship level, you need to add an adverb after the  verb: Je t’aime beaucoup, Je t’aime bien. You can of course say Je t’aime to a member of  your family. Let’s see the different ways to use the verb aimer in French :
