Bonjour ! I graduated with a Master’s in French as Foreign Language and teach to various publics : individuals and professionnals. I also have a long experience abroad : I studied in Milan, I have been a journalist in Bangkok and a private tutor in Russia before returning to Paris where I now teach full time French as a foreign language. In addition to my Master’s in French, I already have attended a cinema school. The little « plus » of my lessons, when I have the appropriate public is my cultural approach. With me you will not be surprised to see that I sometimes use movies extracts during my lessons. Also, if you are interested by the culture and Paris and wish to learn French immersed in the city, there will probably be a chance that I offer you a visit of an exhibition, a museum, a cultural walk in Paris.

A passionate professional, I have been teaching my mother tongue for almost 20 years by vocation, all over the world from Latin America to Middle East. My vast experience includes teaching people from different backgrounds, including executives, diplomats, professionals of the European Commission in Brussels, among others.

My belief that 1:1 language courses give the best results encouraged me to do some research in this field. I have successfully completed a Master's degree in Teaching French as A Foreign Language with a speciality in individual training.

For me, every student is a new educational challenge. I adapt all the materials and course content to your needs and objectives. Your progress and your satisfaction are my top priority.

Currently based in Paris, I provide in-house professional French courses to an expatriate public.

I work with embassies (USA, United Kingdom) and international organisations (OECD) to teach French courses on specific objectives at advanced levels and I prepare students for French language diplomas (DELF / DALF, TCF, TEF, internal embassy diplomas...).

I also teach teenagers and children who are learning French for their studies. I am passionate about teaching and I will be very happy to help you benefit from my experience and discover the French language and culture.”

After a career in France in marketing, it was during an expatriation in Asia that I was able to teach French as a foreign language, to adults and students of all ages, in a wide variety of situations (the Alliance Française, schools and universities, companies). Qualified in marketing and with a masters in FLE I am delighted to give courses to expatriates in Paris, people just spending a few weeks or months here and who want to learn French, perfect their skills or prepare for an exam whilst discovering the many riches and secrets of this wonderful city and of French culture.

As I hold a Master’s Degree in Teaching French as a foreign language and in Applied Languages – English-Spanish, I do understand what it means to learn a foreign language.

Besides, I spent 20 years teaching French in England, the United States, Japan and China, which gave me a good global understanding of students’ linguistic and cultural profiles.

Since I came back to Paris, I have been teaching French at Ferrandi, HEC and creating tailor-made classes for private students.  In addition, I’ve been an examiner for the Delf-Dalf, TCF and business French exams.

A food and wine lover, I hold the WSET 1 diploma and I have developed wine tasting workshops where students learn in a fun atmosphere!

I have been teaching for a few years to individuals, children and teeenagers but also for companies such as Hermès.  I cover all levels from beginners to advanced and I always adjust the learning material to students’ needs, schedule and learning abilities. I like using a wide range of learning material from a standard textbook to online material or documents such as press articles or films extracts.

It is with great enthusiasm that I teach the French language and French culture to students interested not only by the language but also by French etiquette. As I am a Parisian, secret Paris is very familiar to me: galleries, intimate museums…

I studied French at the Sorbonne University and History of Art at the Ecole du Louvre. I taught 3 years in a bilingual school in Paris. I have also worked as a cinema screenwriter for a few years.

In addition to my lessons, I will be very happy to organise a personalised immersion in Paris adjusted to your level. Many of my students are artists, but not all of them of course.
